Out & About CBD Focuses on LGBT Community for New Water-Soluble CBD Lube

New Product Combines Experience Enhancing CBD Benefits and Safe Sex Practices

Out & About CBD’s new water-soluble CBD personal lubricant offers the LGBT community the best of both worlds. By being water-soluble the lubricant does not weaken condom structure nor negatively impact the use of sexual toys. Concurrently, CBD enhances sexual wellness and pleasure by facilitating increased blood flow. Additionally, the product’s natural fragrance, and neutral taste do not deter from a more creative sexual experience.

The global public health non-profit, Population Council, suggests personal lubricants can be beneficial for anal intercourse as a way to reduce trauma to the rectal lining. The higher likelihood of this occurring in this area of body traces to the fact that the anus unlike the vagina does not secrete a natural lubricant for sexual activity.

Out & About CBD’s personal sexual lubricants come from U.S.-farmed hemp and are available in both a 2.5oz and 6oz sizes with retail prices of $19.95 and $29.95 respectively. The smaller version contains a total of 40mg of active CBD while the 6oz size contains 100mg. According to Out & About CBD Co-founder Wayne Carkeek: “Our mission to leverage CBD for the greater wellness of the LGBT community includes both  overall CBD thought leadership and the promotion of CBD products uniquely suited for our audience”  The new personal lubricants are available now at Out & About CBD’s website: www.outandaboutcbd.com As with all other company online sales, 5% of proceeds will be donated to LGBT non-profits such as The Trevor Project.

Carkeek, who grew up in a small conservative town in Montana, came out shortly after a four-year stint in the U.S. Marine Corps. He credits his use of CBD in helping him deal with the anxiety of the journey. A short video of his inspirational story is on the company website (www.outandaboutcbd.com).

CBD is predicted to grow to be a $20 billion category by 2022 (Brightfield Group), and has enjoyed stamps of approval and legality from both The World Health Organization which declared hemp-based CBD to be “a safe product with health benefits” and the U.S. Government which classified CBD as a legal product in the 2018 Farm Bill. Hemp-based CBD, which is short for cannabidiol, comes from the same cannabis family as marijuana though hemp CBD contains less than 0.3% of THC, which is the addictive element in marijuana that gets one high. Out & About CBD’s hemp CBD products typically contain zero THC and are organic, vegan, U..S farmed, and third-party tested.

CBD can have a positive impact on our physiological functions by interacting with our endocannabinoid system (ECS) which is crucial for balancing a healthy stress response, mood and sleep/wake cycles. Growth in the industry has been grass roots driven with reported efficacy levels over 80% according to CBD user surveys. Indeed, about half of people who use CBD, use it daily (HelloMD survey).

The Out & About CBD product line-up also includes several traditional CBD products including both 10mg and 25mg gummies, an energy and sports recovery drink mix (a convenient option to CBD water), CBD massage oil with lavender and even a CBD dog chew especially for small dogs, 25 pounds and less. Out and About CBD will sell direct via its own, ecommerce site which will be aggressively promoted in LGBT media and via LGBT influencers and on social media. The company also intends to sell to a variety of retailers in leading gay neighborhoods as well as wellness outlets across the U.S.
