Created by the world famous underground drag duo the Boulet Brothers to discover and create their next monster, a new drag queen who will become the World’s Next Drag Supermonster, The Boulet Brothers’ DRAGULA is a competition based reality show. Alternative, horror, punk and misfit themed drag queens compete in mind blowing, shocking and dangerous challenges to slay the competition and snatch the crown of Dragula or die trying.
The new season of The Boulet Brothers’ DRAGULA promises to be one of the most shocking seasons of queer television ever to be broadcast in the world. Ten drag queens from around the world have been chosen to compete in a series of outrageous physical and mental challenges to test their creativity, bravery and stamina in hopes of snatching the crown and becoming the World’s Next Drag Supermonster.
“This is not your mother’s drag queen competition, said the Boulet Brothers. “This show takes drag back to its queer, underground punk origins and brings a different point of view to drag.”
The first season of The Boulet Brothers’ DRAGULA launched in 2016 as an online show that quickly gained fame and notoriety by unsettling and shocking audiences worldwide. Season One, hosted by the Boulet Brothers with a rotating cast of guest judges including director Darren Stein (Jawbreaker) and drag legend Peaches Christ, has been reformatted with never-before-seen footage.
“The Boulet Brothers’ DRAGULA is an exciting, provocative and boundary-pushing show,” added Brad Danks, CEO of OUTtv. “We look forward partnering with the Boulet Brothers to bring their brand of drag, horror and glamour to audiences and we are confident it will resonate with OUTtv’s viewers.”
